  20. I can only think of two - commercial and non-commercial. Animations that 
  21. someone paid for shouldn't compete with ones created by someone working 
  22. on their own.

  30. prizes are, but I'd try to make the prizes for each placing (1st, 2nd, 
  31. 3rd, etc.) in each catagory roughly the same.

  35. This depends on what the animations in the contest are going to be used 
  36. for. Is some sort of tape compilation of the winners going to be made? 
  37. You'll need a better tape format for that, but probably shouldn't require 
  38. anything better than VHS to enter the contest (winners could always 
  39. re-submit their works on better tape formats later).
